This is my first attempt at bead embroidery and I loved doing this, even though it was very time consuming. This was made with lots of love for my DH who has encouraged me in many areas of my life, in our 40 years together. This piece will not be for sale.

Pretty neat! Kind of reminds me of a Sailor's Valentine.
How beautiful! What a special gift:)
Good morning Ladies ~ Thank you for visiting and your comments.
Thrifty Countrywoman ~ Yea, it does kind of resemble Sailor's Valentines, only with beads instead of shells.
Carla ~ Thank you.
Have a great day ~ FlowerLady

Awesome creation! Have a beautiful relaxing day. TTFN ~Marydon
Thank you Marydon. I do hope to have a relaxing day today, creating something with thread hopefully. It's too hot and miserable out to do anything in the gardens.

Oh my, this is very pretty. I have never tryed this... hummm.
Hi there ~ It was fun, but time consuming. I really did enjoy the process and loved how it turned out, even though it could be a lot better. I read afterwards that your are supposed to start from the inside and work your way out. DUH! That makes sense.

Oh I wouldn't have the patience for that, but you did a beautiful job!
It turned out so nicely, it's hard to believe that it was your first attempt to do this type of work.
I have been thinking about doing beadwork myself. I love wearing tops with beadwork on them, and with the price of plain shirts being so cheap, I have been tempted to try it.
Oh Oh Oh! Is that EVER pretty!
I have a ton of links to bead embroidery things if you are interested. If so - let me know and I'll send them all your way!
my word verification - bless
How very appropriate!
Sandra ~ Thank you.
Merrie ~ You could certainly do something with bead work that is uniquely you. You might have people asking where you got your wonderful shirt.
Aims~ Thank you. I would be interested. How neat that your verification word was bless. I think it's interesting the way some of those are. Some are strange and you almost know what they mean.
Thanks for visiting and your kind comments.
Have a lovely Christmas season.
